The Mellifera dress, Mellifera meaning “Honey Baring” in Latin, is inspired by 1920’s embroidery, with delicate bumblebees and spring flowers.
Meticulously hand embroidered onto a black satin deadstock fabric with hues of golden yellow, green, blue and pink threads to demonstrate blooming flowers and bees creating a visually striking effect contrast.
The A-line shape is designed to gently cinch at the waist and then flare out gracefully, providing both comfort and style.

Annie has partnered with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust who work to raise public awareness of the threats bumblebees face and to help rare bumblebees through active conservation work to safeguard, restore and create habitats for them. 10% of Profits will be going straight to conserve bumblebees and their habitat!
