Juliet Corset

The Juliet Corset reimagines bridal dressing through a lens of 18th-century splendour and romance, drawing inspiration from the opulence of historic botanical illustrations. Annie wished to introduce soft colour and ornate dimension into the traditional bridal palette to create a wearable garden.

This piece features classic corsetry with traditional internal boning to sculpt and support the body. The structured foundation is densely embellished with a constellation of pearls and light-catching rhinestones layered over intricate botanical embroidery. This layering creates an intricate, multidimensional finish where soft shades of rose and sage are brought to life through detailed thread work and fine gold stitching that defines every leaf and petal with a subtle metallic radiance.

Refining the silhouette, a hand-laced back allows for precise adjustment, reinforcing the garment’s archival construction and its profound relationship to historical corsetry.
