Fawn Gown - Saffron

The Fawn Gown in Saffron is crafted from a rare specialty lame produced by artisans in  the prestigious mills of Lake Como, Italy, the fabric itself  takes over 21 weeks to weave — a single run. Designed entirely in-house by Annie and handcrafted within Annie's atelier, the woven construction gives it a structure and weight that drapes with quiet intention. 

Annie drew inspiration for the Fawn gown in Saffron from Lamé’s 4,000-year history. Originally hand-wrought from genuine gold and silver for the priests of Ancient Assyria and later synonymous with the daring glamour of 1920s flapper fashion, we are now reimagining it in a uniquely Annie’s way.

The Fawn Gown in Saffron is a sun-drenched reimagining of the Fawn print, a warm orange base that catches light the way a Mediterranean sunset does. Gold threads are woven through a silk base, creating a metallic glow that shifts with every movement, every room, every hour of the day.
