Annie has designed a new collection of mini Egyptian dresses. Each dress is entirely one of a kind and handcrafted from original 1920s Egyptian silver-inlaid mesh fabric—an opulent textile steeped in history.
Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of Ancient Egypt and Art Deco design, this shimmering mini dress features intricate geometric patterns that catch the light with every movement. The fabric, over 100 years old, originates from Cairo Egypt and is made by a very complex technique of hammering silver to a handmade net base.
The halter neckline frames the shoulders with effortless allure, while a daring front slit and a drop-waist silhouette, reminiscent of flapper-era elegance, elongate the figure before cascading into a softly draped, hand-stitched hem.
